Peter Hinrichs has been working as a professional entertainer for the last 35 years. He studied theater at the School of Performing and Visual Arts in San Diego, California and with members of the Royal Shakespeare Company at the University of California in Santa Barbara, California. He has been a part of over 250 different theatrical performances in Mexico, the USA and Canada. Using the pseudonym of Peter the Adequate, he has worked as a magician for most of his life and entertained millions around the world with his magic.

 

          Equally comfortable with a small group in an intimate setting as he is in large venues, Peter entertains his audience and keeps them amused, amazed and enchanted, by never losing sight of the fact that the audience is the reason for the show. Be prepared to become a part of the show, whether you are invited to join him on stage, participate from your seat or just by getting wrapped up in the hilarity and magic. Whether he is performing a baffling and entertaining card trick, a mind boggling feat of mind reading, a daring escape routine or an entertaining bit of comedy magic, Peter’s constant focus is on keeping the audience as involved as possible.Peter touches the lives of everyone he performs for. He will tickle your funny bone and pluck your heart strings as he amuses and amazes you with his magic.

 

          Peter is a proud member of the Society of American Magicians, The International Brotherhood of Magicians, past member of the Pacific Coast Association of Magicians and a past president of the Texas Association of Magicians. He is also one of the two co-founders of the famed Magic Camp in Austin, Texas. He currently lives in Branson, Missouri where he has performed in two of his own shows (“The Magic of Peter the Adequate” and “The Many Faces of Peter the Adequate”). In Branson he also performed with other shows (“2 Fluffy Women”, “The Theatreland Murders”, “A Midsummer’s Night Dream”, “Friday Night Live Cabaret” and “Friday After Dark Cabaret”). Currently he travels around the country performing, speaking and educating.
